All of this is hilarious, but a gorgeous quote from the same interview:
“In all seriousness, this discovery is humbling. It’s a reminder that there’s still so much to learn about our wild world — and that humans are one small part of an impossibly vast biosphere. On this planet, all fates are intertwined, and right now, one million species are teetering on the edge of oblivion. We have an existential mandate to mend our broken relationship with nature and protect the places that sustain life.”

okay i'm 15 episodes into Diamond is Unbreakable & i'm apologizing so profusely to Stand Proud right now. Chase sounds like a Bleach anime opening if the Bleach anime was made in 2005 & half of the team was Americans.
or like an opening for season 2 of a Baki anime if it were made in the early- to mid-00s & was exactly like what you & your bros were making up in the Kuru-Kuru-Kururin stream.
i'm 98% sure that Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town is the best song in the entire series, why in hell's name did they do this??

Chase is extremely divisive in the fandom. You either love it or you hate it.
However what I will say, without spoilers, is that it does fit the section of the story it exists in, but it starts a bit too early (Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town should have lasted for a few more episodes until shit hits the fan).
I personally like it, but ONLY for the mid section of Part 4 specifically.
The next OP does a much better job at recapturing the vibes that make Jojo so addicting music-wise, and is probably one of if not my favorite songs in the series.
Thematically, OP 1 being funky and fun, OP2 being super grim and edgy, and then OP3 reclaiming that fun funky energy again does actually make sense with context (which is a big reason why I enjoy it) but it takes a bit to set in.
